This is a personal developer portfolio — not a commercial service, application, or SaaS product. Contact Form / Email Inquiries

If you send an email or submit a contact inquiry, any information you include — such as your name, email address, and the content of your message — is received and stored only for the purpose of responding to your inquiry. This information is not added to any mailing list, shared with third parties for marketing purposes, or used for anything other than the direct response to your message.

Automatically Collected Technical Data

Hosting and infrastructure providers (see Third-Party Services below) may automatically log request metadata including IP addresses, HTTP headers, and request timestamps as part of normal server operation. This data is used for security monitoring, abuse prevention, and reliability purposes, and is governed by those providers' own privacy policies.

How We Use Your Information

Any information collected through this site is used solely for the following purposes:

  • Understanding which parts of the portfolio attract visitor interest, in order to improve the site.
  • Diagnosing technical errors, broken links, or performance issues using aggregated analytics data.
  • Responding to contact inquiries submitted via email or any contact mechanism on the site.
  • Detecting and preventing abusive traffic, unauthorized access attempts, or other security threats.

Your data is never sold, rented, or shared with advertising networks. It is not used to build a profile about you, serve targeted advertisements, or any other commercial purpose.

Third-Party Services

This site relies on the following third-party services to function. Each of these services has its own privacy policy and data practices, which are independent of this policy.

Vercel (Hosting & Infrastructure)

This site is hosted on Vercel's platform. Vercel automatically collects and processes server logs, IP addresses, and request metadata as part of providing hosting services. Vercel may also provide built-in analytics features that capture page views and visitor metrics. Vercel's data practices are governed by their privacy.vercel.com privacy policy.

Analytics Providers

This site may use Vercel Analytics or a similar privacy-focused analytics service to understand aggregate visitor behavior. These tools collect anonymized or pseudonymized data about page views, referrers, device types, and geographic regions. Where possible, analytics are configured to respect Do Not Track headers and to avoid storing full IP addresses. No cross-site tracking or advertising profiling is performed.

This site contains links to external platforms including GitHub, LinkedIn, and X (Twitter). When you click these links, you leave this site and are subject to those platforms' own privacy policies. This site has no control over the data practices of third-party platforms and does not receive any data from them about your activity on those sites.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

This site does not use first-party cookies for advertising, personalization, or cross-site tracking. Analytics tools used on this site may set a minimal, first-party analytics cookie or use local storage to distinguish between unique sessions and repeat visits. This is done solely to produce accurate aggregate visit counts and is not used to track you across other websites.

Your browser's built-in privacy controls — including Do Not Track, Global Privacy Control, and cookie blocking — are respected where technically feasible. You may also clear any stored cookies or local storage data for this site at any time through your browser settings.

Data Retention

Analytics data is retained according to the default or configured retention windows of the analytics provider in use. Aggregate analytics data (page views, visitor counts) is typically retained for up to 12 months for the purpose of year-over-year comparison, after which it may be deleted or further anonymized.

Contact inquiries received by email are retained only as long as necessary to handle the conversation and any reasonable follow-up. There is no automated system for purging email correspondence, but upon request (see Your Rights below), any personally identifiable information from a prior inquiry can be deleted.

Your Rights

Even though this is a personal portfolio site with minimal data collection, you have the right to request information about any personal data that may have been collected and stored in connection with your use of this site. You also have the right to request deletion of any personally identifiable data submitted through a contact inquiry.

To exercise any of these rights, please send an email to privacy@ibrahharoon.dev with a brief description of your request. Requests will be acknowledged within a reasonable timeframe, typically within 30 days.

Note that aggregate, anonymized analytics data (such as page view counts without any associated identifying information) cannot be individually attributed or deleted, as it contains no personally identifiable information.

Children's Privacy

This website is not directed at, designed for, or intended to be used by children under the age of 13. No services are provided to children under 13, and no personal information is knowingly collected from them. If you believe a child under 13 has submitted personal information via this site, please contact privacy@ibrahharoon.dev so that any such information can be promptly deleted.

Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in how this site operates or to comply with applicable law. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will be revised whenever substantive changes are made. Continued use of the site after any such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
